Disappointment! Baar Baar Dekho’s 1st Week Box Office Business Stays Below Par

Baar Baar Dekho has disappointed big time at the Box Office. In fact it is a surprise failure commercially since even in the worst case scenario, one wouldn’t have expected a Week One total of just 29.40 crore. With a film like this where so many reputed names have come together, one looked forward to at least decent numbers commercially. That hasn’t turned out to be the case as Baar Baar Dekho is now competing with some of the lowest grossing films of the year. Sidharth Malhotra got a great platform to debut in Bollywood through Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year, but post that, the actor’s career graph hasn’t been on a rise. Freaky Ali Scores An Average Box Office Collection In 1st Week

The promo had given an impression of a rollicking entertainer but suddenly the promotional buzz went down and the musical campaign didn’t work either. The film arrived almost unannounced and it is to credit of some decent content by Sohail Khan and some solid acting by Nawazuddin Siddiqui that the film didn’t crash per se.
