Bharat Ane Nenu Box Office Day 1: After Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam, looks it’s like Mahesh Babu is geared up to set the box office on fire with his new release Bharat Ane Nenu. Fans have been riled up ever since the film was announced, and it will probably have a great run on the big screen, not just in India, but around the world.
While Rangasthalam earned 46 crores worldwide on its opening day, early trends flowing in suggests that Bharat Ane Nenu has collected over 50 crores on its first day. If these reports are to be believed, then the Mahesh Babu starrer has surpassed Rangasthalam. It will become the 2nd highest Telugu grosser worldwide, after SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2, which recorded opening collections of 121 crores worldwide.
With the film being released in 45 foreign countries, Bharat Ane Nenu has also become actotr Mahesh Babu’s biggest international release till date. Also, since there are no big budget Bollywood releases this week, the film will not face much competition at the box office. However, it might face tought times next week, when the much anticipated Avengers: Infinity War hits theatres worldwide.
Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu has already received rave reviews from critics, many of whom believe this is the actor’s best work till date. This political drama also features Kiara Advani and Prakash Raj in leading roles, as we see the journey of a young university graduate taking the mantle of Chief Minister, and try to bring about some change. While the plot might be reminiscent of Anil Kapoor’s 2001 film Nayak: The Real Hero, director Kortala Srivastava has brought a lot of new ideas in his film.
